The Directorate of Research and Consultancy has two departments, namely Corporate Research and Business Consultancy. Functions of this directorate include:
- Formulation of management, financial and taxation policies for Co-operatives and Other community based institutions and review those policies and programmers from time to time so as to ensure efficiency.
- Providing consultancy services to Co-operatives and other Community based institutions in matters pertaining to business management finance and taxation.
- Conduct research on Co-operative Performance and development.
